Stash & Go Moving is hiring a Crew Lead who understands the business — not just the job.
Our movers are young and motivated. However, they need a leader who can guide them, coach them, and protect the company’s reputation on every move. We’re looking for someone who thinks ahead, makes smart decisions, and always acts in the best interest of the business.
This is not a helper role. It’s a hands-on leadership position for someone who can run a crew and manage the bigger picture.
What You’ll Do
As Crew Lead, you’ll be responsible for every part of the job from start to finish. You won’t just move furniture — you’ll direct the team, manage the flow, and make sure the work reflects our standards.

- First, you’ll lead a crew of 2–5 movers on residential or small office jobs
- You’ll walk through the job with clients — confirming scope, noting damage, and setting expectations
- Throughout the move, you’ll wrap, load, and protect items with safety and speed
- You’ll also collect payments and signed forms on-site (card and check payments)
- When needed, you’ll pick up and return rental trucks (U-Haul, Penske, etc.)
- After the job, you’ll inspect, clean, and refuel the truck to get it ready for the next day
- At all times, you’ll communicate with dispatch to keep the office updated
- Finally, you’ll coach and correct your crew in real-time — helping younger movers improve while staying on pace

- Ideally, you bring some management experience or business-minded thinking to the role
- You don’t just follow instructions — you see the whole picture, anticipate problems, and fix them before they grow
- If something goes wrong, you handle it — clearly, calmly, and with the company’s interests in mind
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should meet the following:

- At least 2 years of moving experience, including leading a crew
- Valid driver’s license and comfort driving 16–26’ box trucks
- Strong communication skills — both with your crew and with clients
- Dependable, respectful, and organized
- Bonus: experience in management, logistics, or small business operations
